Pearl Gray 17th Century Dress, Silver Grey Broque 1600s Gown

Pearl gray 17th century dress from Vermeer’s paintings. Designed after silhouette and lines of 1650s – 1670s Dutch fashion, represented with Netherlands’ baroque artists works. The silhouette has a boat neckline and is slightly off shoulder.

Costume is designed as two separate items: skirt and bodice, which are fastened by buttons on the bodice bottom and skirt girdle. Either of them can be worn separately. The bodice is corsetted and has boning, which allows reduce the waist and ensure the bust uphold. The skirt is full enough to give a nice historical look, but you can add some volume to the hips using the bumroll (please, choose the option accordingly).

Please, beware that due to off shoulder look and corsetted bodice the movement range may be limited in this dress! This outfit helps to achieve noble behaviour and grace 😉
