Blue linen rococo costume – 1760s caraco jacket and skirt inspired by rococo fashion. Made of fine electric blue linen, this costume can be used either at summer reenacting XVIII century events (it’s 100% natural and breathable!). Comfy, natural and suitable for strict dress-code historical events.
The costume consists of caraco (jacket) made of linen with cotton lining. The bodice is supported by boning, though it’s rather soft and doesn’t feel like boned. It closes on front hand-sewn eyelets and is laced with black string across white cotton stomack detail. Stomack is not sewn to the jacket, so it should be pinned to the corset or jacket and held by the lacing.
The skirt is rather full, it’s made on the wide girdle with lacing, so it fits several sizes.
The costume is made to fit period lingerie, which is rococo shirt, corset, bumroll and petticoat. However, it will look well without lingerie too. The white sleeve you can see on photo is a part of chemise (shirt). Please, choose ‘+shirt’ option if you need it.
