Yellow colour was on a peak of fashion at Elizabeth I court, so such dress was probably worn by Her Majesty herself or her honourable lady-in-waiting Bess Trockmorton. This gown was inspired by ‘Elizabeth. The Golden Age’ movie costumes and will suit many of Renaissance activities from beautiful ball to Renaissance fair.
The costume consists of the solid boned bodice which forms fashionable flat 16th century silhouette and reduces waist. It closes on back lacing. The skirt goes separately and also closes on back button. All the materials are different kinds of cottons, so the dress will be comfortable to wear on summer Renaissance fairs or for dancing at the ball. The ruff collar is fastened on pins.
The gown is available in other colours, the dress may be made after your size with individual measurements. Any design changes are possible for custom orders
