Renaissance gown out of a portrait: 1570s luxurious Spanish court gown made of black and silver brocade, richly decorated with silver trims and white satin bows with filigree silver lace ends.
Historical outfit will make a great enterance at SCA events or will work great as a cosplay of 16th century European royalty. The costume consists of the bodice and skirt, which are two separate items. The bodice is stiff and partly boned for better shape, it closes on front hooks and eyes and on the back lacing for size adjustment. Ornated fitted undersleeves are fully detachable and are laced up to the bodice sleeves.
The skirt is a separate item and may be fully opened on front. It’s made of jacquard and fully lined with 100% cotton. It closes on buttons on the belt and hooks and eyes along the front opening. Please mind that there is no underskirt in this set, as well as farthingale (hoopskirt) is not included, but they can be ordered separately.
Ruff and cuffs are available if choosing this option accordingly. They are made as separate items and stitched to the dress.
