Olive and gold Renaissance gown inspired by 1500s Italian fashion. The dress bodice has a good boning and rough cotton interlayer. Puff sleeves with intricate tipets on wrists are taken from the 1520s-1530s portraits. The skirt is wide and full.

The dress is closed on back lacing. Taffeta is synthetic, which makes the item more durable and washable. The lining is 100% cotton.
