Italian Renaissance Red Giorno Cloak, 1490s Giornea Cape

Red jacquard Italian Renaissance giorno (giornea) – a simple yet bright detail which makes the whole look work better together. Inspired by 1490s Florence and Venetian fashion, you may have seen such capes in ‘The Borgias’ series and Renaissance paintings.

The giorno is made of bright red cotton jacquard, all seams carefully locked. The item is not lined. The item is generously cut, the volume you see on the listing picture to be preserved, so the silhouette to look the same on bigger sizes as well.
