The gown is made of 100% cotton muslin fabric. It consists of bodice and skirt, which may be worn separately. Both bodice and skirt are lined with pure cotton. The bodice is closed on back lacing with modesty panel underneath, which makes the gown adjustable.
Intricate folds and ruffles, as well as bodice bottom piping are made according to the 1830s fashion and give the accents often seen on the extant Romanticism era gowns.
