Crimson red Renaissance gown in a classy red and black combination. Made after 1520s-1530s Italian Renaissance portraits, has a great silhouette and will become a headturner at any event.
The dress bodice is roughly boned and shapes the figure well. Due to a couple of dozens of bones and cotton interlayer, it gives the corseted effect. The dress closes on three lacings – center back and two sides, which makes it rather adjustable.
The skirt is generously cut and has a slight train, helping to preserve Renaissance silhouette. The dress is made of synthetic taffeta, which makes the item more durable and washable. The lining of the bodice is 100% cotton.
The sleeves are made of contrasting black velvet, the trims decoration is of black velvet as well, giving a nice texture mix touch.
