This dress will be perfect for a period photosession, ball or wedding. It was designed after a famous Alessandro Allori picture of Eleonora di Toledo. This Renaissance attire is made to fit a renfaire queen or Renaissance court lady.
The dress was fashioned to be worn over the proper undergarments of the times (corset and chemise, which are not included with this listing). The gown consists of the goldish underskirt, the dress itself and the goldish stomack detail. The dress has boned bodice and one-layer skirt. It is made of taffeta. The boice closes in the front with small hooks. Sleeves are a separate detail and laced to the bodice, which is historically correct for 16th century costume. The golden petticoat can be worn separately. Central golden ‘stomack’ detail is pinned to a corset or a dress.
