Creamy beige Victorian gown for special occasions from wedding to grand ball by all 1880s fashion lovers. Tight bodice decorated with white laces and tulle makes an accent on the feminine silhouete – small waist and gracile posture. Bustled skirt with drapers makes a historically correct shape.
The dress consists of a skirt and a bodice, which are worn separately. The bodice is corsetted, has plastic boning and 100% cotton lining. It closes on the back lacing. The skirt has a back draper and a train.
The dress is designed to be worn with proper historical undergarnments: ‘omar tail’ bustle, taffeta petticoat and a corset. They all are not included in the listing, though can be bought separately or as a set in this shop. See for corset here.
Although at least corset and bustle are needed to create a specific 1870s – 1880s shape, the dress can be also worn without undergarnments, as the bodice is rather rough itself.
